Shiv Thakare makes commentary debut amid IPL 2023 fever
After winning fans’ hearts in Roadies, Bigg Boss Marathi and Bigg Boss 16, Shiv Thakare has now joined the cricket bandwagon. In today’s IPL (Indian Premier League) 2023 between Rajashthan Royals and Delhi Capitals match, Shiv performed the task of a guest commentator on Jio Cinema.
Sharing about his experience, Shiv said, “I really enjoyed that whole experience. As cricket fan, we go to watch matches at the stadium at max. But, watching it from commentator’s room was a totally different experience altogether.”

Shiv Thakare, who enjoys cricket like any other Indian, added that he was a bit nervous about commentary because he had to do it alongside a big name in cricket like Kiran More. He said, “I was nervous because I was commenting with cricket legend like Kiran More sir and two other commentators, who were so experienced. In comparison, I was doing gully cricket-type commentary. Their words were totally different from mine, but I did it in my style. ”
Shiv Thakare will surely cherish his memories with More and actor Siddharth Jadhav, who was also in the commentary box. His fans must also have enjoyed watching him in a new avatar.
