Amit Sial’s Tikdam receives special recognition at Indian Film Festival of Houston!

Actor Amit Sial is at it again. After garnering praise for his portrayals in Maharani to Jamtara to Kathmandu Connection and Qala, he has once again mesmerized the audiences at the Indian Film Festival of Houston with his work in Tikdam.

‘Tikdam’, directed by Vivek Anchalia and presented by Jio studios, depicts the story of a father (played by sial) who unwillingly has to migrate to a metropolitan city due to lack of opportunities in his small town, leaving behind his two young children and frailing parents.

The story captivates the emotional struggle that the small family has to ensue due to such migration and how they overcome it. Tikdam also features Arisht Jain, Aarohi Saud, Divyansh Dwivedi and Nayan Bhatt in pivotal roles.

Amit is elated that the film received a ‘special recognition award’ and terms this as a beautiful start to a beautiful film.
