The 22nd Indian Television Awards which aired on Sun 1st Jan on Star Plus drew a larger audience than last year, when viewership plunged to an all-time high.

The awards show attracted millions of viewers to watch their favourite celebrities win an award or dance to their favourite songs. The ITA Awards show happens to be the only award show to have surpassed all film awards in the ratings and viewership.
