“Today it seems that maybe I have come one step closer to becoming a star after appearing on The Kapil Sharma Show,” says Janhvi Kapoor

Known for her quirky and lively personality along with her impressive acting, Janhvi Kapoor along with her dad and producer par excellence Boney Kapoor will make their first every appearance on television with Sony Entertainment Television’s The Kapil Sharma Show to promote her upcoming film, Mili this upcoming weekend. The TKSS debutants i.e father-daughter duo will not only share interesting tidbits about their personal lives and the filming process, but they will also laugh out loud at Kapil’s new atrangi parivaar’s hilarious gags; making it a memorable evening.

When Kapil Sharma went on to congratulate Janhavi for her achievements, the young star Janhvi Kapoor shared her excitement about her debut on the show, saying, “The biggest achievement seems to be that today I have finally come on The Kapil Sharma Show. Today it seems that maybe I have come one step closer to becoming a star after appearing on this show.”

Further when Kapil jokingly asks if Janhvi was waiting for Kapil to do a serious film first and then she will appear on The Kapil Sharma Show, Janhvi jokingly said, “ Sir you only weren’t giving me a date.” And, she added saying, When Gunjan Saxena was about to release that time there was a lockdown going on so I couldn’t make it. For every film before its releases, the first promotional outfit that I used to decide and select was for The Kapil Sharma Show, but that never happened only. But, the saree that I’m wearing today was decided a month ago and I got the opportunity to wear this today.” Boney Kapoor quips inbetween and says, “the last trip of Janhvi’s to Tirupati was to get her wish fulfilled of being on The Kapil Sharma Show.”

Additionally, in conversation with guests, host Kapil will ask Boney and Janhvi, who believes in superstitions among them. Janhvi would go on to say, “I’m quite superstitious. Now too while entering the stage I entered with my right foot first. Also, on Mom & Dad’s birthday, New year and other special occasions I make sure to visit Tirupati and Thursday I am veg.”
