Witness ‘Kolkata ki Shaan’ Bidipta Chakraborty and Senjuti Das amaze Sharmila Tagore this Sunday on Sony TV’s Indian Idol Season 13 ‘Leading Ladies special episode’

Celebrating women this weekend at 8pm, Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘Indian Idol – Season 13’ is all set to host the ‘Leading Ladies Special’ episodes! Continuing the 90s mausam from last week, the upcoming weekend will be a delight for the viewers as veteran actor Tanuja Ji will be seen gracing the Saturday episode and Sharmila Tagore will be seen gracing the Sunday episode. Surprising judges – Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani followed by the special guests, contestants Senjuti Das and Bidipta Chakraborty from Kolkata will be seen delivering a memorable performance.

Contestant Senjuti Das from Kolkata will be seen performing on ‘Roz Shaam Aati Thi’ impressing the judges and the guest and receiving a standing ovation from them. Tanuja ji who will be the most impressed from her performance shares, “You sang it with so much feeling. Tumne bohot hi achcha gaaya. I felt all the emotions when you sang the song.”

Adding more cheer to the musical mausam, Bidipta post herperformance on ‘Zara Haule Haule’ and ‘Ab Ke Sajan Sawan’ will be seen requesting Sharmila ji to apply her iconic eye make-up on her and performs with her on ‘Ab Ke SajanSawan’ making for a cute moment. Sharmila ji shares the inspiration behind her iconic eye make-up style, “I was shooting for the film Talaash in Kashmir. Nadira ji called me and said that the way you put your eyeliner doesn’t gel with your face. She suggested to use an eye pencil and then smudge it. From then, it became my style.”

Opening pandora’s box of surprises will also be Rishi Singh from Ayodhya, Anushka Patra, Pritam Roy, Debosmita Roy, Sonakshi Kar, Sanchari Sengupta from Kolkata, Chirag Kotwal from Jammu, Shagun Pathak from Ranchi, Vineet Singh from Lucknow, Navdeep Wadali from Amritsar, Shivam Singh, Kavya Limaye from Gujarat, Rupam Bharnarhia from Amritsar who will leave the viewers in awe!
