Prime Minsiter Of India Narendra Modi doesn’t have any daughter in real life, which is a fact which need not be reiterated here. But two dumb founded terrorists from Pakistanis think otherwise and kidnap a Indian girl so that they can blackmail India and fulfill their malicious intention of taking away Kashmir from India. This is a fictional story which you might find it very weird at a glance but the story has a root in one of real life incidence which occurred in 2014.
During one of the press conferences for her a south Indian film held in a southern city, the lead actress of the film ‘Avani Ki Modi’ was asked that time whether she is a real life daughter of current Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Her reply to this weird question made headlines in those days and since then she has been referred to as ‘Modi Ji Ki Beti’. Inspired by this hilarious incidence, Avani Modi herself has written the story of the film and leaves her mark not only as the lead actor of the film but as a prolific writer too. She does a applause worthy job in both the departments.
The twisted story of ‘Modi Ji Ki Beti’ has been given a India-Pakistan setting which has been presented in a rib tickling way. It is one of the most enjoyable comedy films of our times which gives you a sense of watching a fulfilling comic film.
Avani Modi debuted in Bollywood with Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Calendar Girl’. She is also known to work in many south Indian films. She has made her mark in both the industries. Her comic timing in the film is impeccable and she wins the heart with her amazing performance.
Pitabash Tripathi and Vikram Kochchar as two dumbfounded Pakistanis excels in their respective roles. Their hilarious acts makes you laugh throughout the film. Director Eddy Singh with his efficient handling of the comic caper holds your attention till the end who has done full justice with the film.
After a long time, a fine comedy film ‘Modi Ji Ki Beti’ is coming into theatres which is a family entertainer with a difference. Needless to see that it is a Paisa Vasool film which will certainly attract audiences in large numbers to the cinemas!
