Bollywood’s reigning beauty of the 70s Jaya Prada will also be joining the judging panel as the special guest of the week.
One such performance, that struck the right chord leaving everybody teary eyed, will be the heartfelt act by little Miss Mohali of Superstar Singer 2, Sayisha along with captain Pawandeep Rajan on ‘Luka Chuppi’. The beautiful song from the pathbreaking film Rang De Basanti has been one of the most popular songs that always stirs up a storm of emotions in everybody . Likewise, when the contestant-captain duo will perform the song everyone including the judges, captains, contestants and even the audience will be left teary eyed. Listening to this, special guest Jaya Prada will get a little emotional as she remembers her mother.
Talking about how mothers are the most valuable and precious gift that all of us should cherish and respect, she said, “I used to work five shifts a day. Starting from morning to night I would be busy in my hectic schedule. I barely had time to even have food on time. So I remember my mother would run behind me to the car’s door with a glass of milk, so that I at least don’t leave the house with an empty stomach. I would just react by saying that I don’t have time for all this. But now when I have lost her, I wish she was here, life would have been so much easier.”
Sayisha’s performance will also leave judge Himesh Reshammiya with a heavy heart and he will promise to give extra time to his mother and cherish each moment with her.
