“It was not an easy role”, says Akshay Kumar on Kriti Sanon’s Mimi!

Kriti Sanon leads the industry today with a log of previous superhits in her bag and a lineup of massive films to look forward to. The busy diva recently saw the release of her latest film, Bachchhan Paandey opposite Akshay Kumar and during one of the promotions, the Khiladi of Bollywood had some praises to sing for his co-star.

Talking about Kriti’s acting prowess, especially referring to the hit film of last year which she solely lead, Mimi, Akshay said in an interview with a leading RJ, “I was surprised that anybody can understand the emotions because to understand the fact that you are pregnant and to get into the skin of the character in such a lovely way without having any kind of a bump, I think it was a very easy ride which you took. I thought it was a very difficult role to perform, it was not an easy role.”

The leading actress had won unanimous praises for her role in Mimi which was so highly spoken of for the longest time, owing it all to Kriti’s ability to shoulder this responsibility and how. Clearly, the impact of Mimi is still on and will definitely not be forgotten ever.

After her latest release, Bachchhan Paandey, the busy actress has big ticket films like Adipurush, Shehzada, Bhediya, Ganapath and another unannounced project with Anurag Kashyap in the pipeline.
