‘Chikoo – Ye Ishq Nachaye’: And the race to scholarship begins between Chikoo and Dhanush

The Friday episode of Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herumb Khot’s “Chikoo – Ye Ishq Nachaye” started with Chikoo getting to know that her video has gone viral. The other students at the cafeteria make fun of her and Aarav stands up in her support but even he is body-shamed. Chikoo gets upset and leaves from there. Dhanush asks her how long she is going to be upset about what happened in the store room. He then sees the video that Mini had made and tells her that she shouldn’t have done that.

Chikoo goes live again and gives a performance. Dhanush too sees it and is heard saying that he can relate to it. Keshav comes to his room and tells him that he shouldn’t have done whatever happened in college. Dhanush tells him that he is embarrassed of himself. Keshav tells him that if he wants to win the competition he needs to play it with honesty. Just then Dhanush’s mother comes there and tells him that everything is fair in war and that she is proud of him. She hugs him which leaves Dhanush surprised. He feels that he did the right thing.

Meanwhile, Chikoo is upset with what happened in college. Sameer tells her that if she is going through the same troubles in Mumbai too then there is no point in them living there. Chikoo then says that she will stay and fight.

The next day, the principal tells Chikoo and Dhanush that their grades are equal and to decide who gets the scholarship they will have a competition. She hands over details of a quiz competition to them and they both start preparing for it.

In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Dhanush’s mother tells him that there is no rule in a war and he must do anything and everything to win the competition. She takes him in front of a photo of his father, and Dhanush promises to become the son he always deserved. Meanwhile, Sameer motivates Chikoo and tells her that if she wins the competition, it will be a slap to those people who called her a failure. To know what happens next, keep watching the show.
