Niketan Sharma an actor, writer, and director is currently based in Mumbai. Having grown up in Delhi, Niketan’s journey in theatre began 11 years ago from his days at Kirori Mal College as a member of the college’s acclaimed theatre society, ‘The Players’. Amitabh Bachchan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Krishna Acharya, Zeeshan Ayub are all alumni of the same drama society.

In 2014, he went on to train at The Drama School, Mumbai where he turned his enthusiasm into his passion. He has been part of well-known theatre productions in the capacity of an actor and writer with directors like Atul Kumar, Mahesh Dattani, Sunil shanbag , Puja Swarup.

Niketan was seen in an impactful role in CANDY (Voot) which released in 2021.
He has also been a part of Cubicles season 1 and 2, he plays the character of Naveen Shetty aka Gambhir who is a straightforward and great planner colleague but he stresses a lot. In the second season you can see him silently bringing in a perspective of equality in his own small way in his office by fighting for his paternity leave.

Niketan went on to aspire his dream and now has his own theatre company in the name of NOW Productions. His own creation, ‘Adrak’ (co-written, co-directed and co-performed by him) has received tremendous appreciation in the independent theatre community in India and was also featured at the prestigious Serendipity Arts Festival Goa in their Theatre at Home series in 2018.
His second play photo-copy (acted , written,directed) was also produced by serendipity festival in 2019 .
