Katrina shatters gender stereotypes at her wedding!

The most talked about Bollywood wedding of the year, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot in a beautiful and intimate gathering of friends and family. While the internet couldn’t stop gushing over their wedding pictures, a particular picture has specially caught the attention of netizens.

Walking down the aisle to the mandap, Katrina is seen surrounded by her sisters holding up the phoolon ki chaadar. Traditionally, it is the bride’s brothers who carry the phoolon ki chaadar as the bride walks to her mandap.

A source reveals, “The phoolon ki chaadar signifies the love and care under which the bride has grown up and give Katrina’s closeness with her sisters, she was very clear right from the beginning that she wanted her sisters to walk her down the aisle.”
