5 underrated shows of 2021 which ended up winning the hearts of the audience on OTT platform
Amidst many shows that were amplified and made big using promotional activities, there are shows like Khwabon ke Parindey, Tandaav and Potluck which were loved by the audience and didn’t bank on any promotional activity. These shows have an intriguing storyline and captivating characters that kept the audience hooked!!
- Khwabon Ke Parindey – VOOT
Khwabon Ke Parindey is a series that revolves around the significance of true friendship and how any situation can be dealt with, if you have your true friends by your side. Set against the scenic landscape of Australia, Khwabon Ke Parindey revolves around the lives of the three main protagonists – Bindiya, Dixit and Megha. After graduating from the University of Melbourne, wild child Bindiya, convinces two of her friends, Dixit and Megha to accompany her on a crazy road trip from Melbourne to Perth. On their journey, they meet the witty, and rugged hitchhiker Aakash. The series showcases how a simple road trip from Melbourne to Perth, changes the lives of Bindiya, Dixit, Megha and Tushar as they untangle their emotions, heal wounds, fall in love, and combat their worst fears.

2. The Mitchells vs the Machines: NETFLIX
An animated action-comedy about an ordinary family who find themselves in the middle of their biggest family challenge yet…saving the world from the robot apocalypse. No big deal, right? It all starts when creative outsider Katie Mitchell is accepted into the film school of her dreams and is eager to leave home and find “her people,” when her nature-loving dad insists on having the whole family drive her to school and bond during one last totally-not-awkward-or-forced road trip. But just when the trip can’t get any worse, the family suddenly finds itself in the middle of the robot uprising. Everything from smart phones, to roombas, to evil Furbys are employed to capture every human on the planet. Now it’s up to the Mitchells, including upbeat mom Linda, quirky little brother Aaron, their squishy pug, Monchi, and two friendly, but simple-minded robots to save humanity.

Prime Minister Devki Nandan Singh is about to succeed the throne third time, his son Samar Pratap Singh joins his party but Devki Nandan’s friend Gopal Das warns him that Samar might change the game completely once he enters the party.Anuradha Kishore keep of Devkii Nandan an prominent member of party Samar has accepted her and her son Raghu’s relationship with his father. Samar plans and kills Devki Nandan by poisoning leading him to an heart attack so that he can take the throne of Prime Minister. On the other end a student Shiva whose part of college politics is protesting with friends where farmers are protesting against an ice factory which is coming on the farmland but nobody is interested in taking their story as everybody is covering on Devki Nandan’s death. On Devki Nandan’s funeral Anuradha tells Samar she has proof that he killed is father and he should offer her the Prime Ministers seat to save himself from getting exposed. Samar chooses Anuradha for the throne but finds from a cop Gurpal Chauhan about Shiva and decides to get him into politics to get his work done.
