Ditipriya Roy is a popular face in Bengali-language films and serials. She debuted on television as a child artist and acted in some iconic serials, but she catapulted into popularity for portraying the character of Rani Rashmoni in the Bengali television series Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni and there has been no looking back since then! Teen sensation Ditipriya, is also known for her ability to play older reel character with complete ease and she will soon also make her entry into Bollywood.

Apart from playing older characters which needed her to change her body language & tone of her voice, she would love to take on the challenge of playing a negative role. Currently she has some interesting web series projects coming up for Hoichoi ZEE5 and some films are in the pipeline. A self-confessed OTT binge watcher loves watching Series like Sex education, stranger things & End of the fuck**g world!

Speaking about her experience on sets she said, “Acting is my passion and something I just love very much and as long as I feel I am learning and growing as an artist and that the roles are challenging me to push myself, I am happy. Be it adult characters or negative roles, I want to explore the entire palate of my craft. Thankfully now with OTT we have another strong medium to explore our artistry beyond films and theatre”

Resuming work also means outdoor travel, long hours on sets, photoshoots and all the frenzy that comes along. But Ditipriya, who recently was roped in as the brand ambassador for Ramsons brand in the Eastern market, has a rather simple take for having flawless skin – stay hydrated, eat healthy, and use only the skincare products that suits your body. She does not prefer using much products on her skin, so before stepping out she will apply sunscreen on her face and exposed part of her body. After removing make-up, she prefers washing her face and then put moisturizer and she also uses body oil and body lotion from the Ramsons brand to keep her skin soft and attractive. Her ‘must have’ beauty products are face cream, lip balm, hand cream & moisturizer, and they are from the Ramsons brand as she is very happy, the way it suits her skin and complexion.

Ditipriya is an ambivert person and her dream role is Eleven from the series – Strangers Things.
