Piyush Mishra impressed with Ravii Dubey’s dedication in Matsya Kaand; calls him a director’s actor

Ravii Dubey, the actor whose performance in Matsya Kaand is highly anticipated received compliments from the veteran all-rounder of Indian cinema, Piyush Mishra, who is also his co-star in the said series. During one of his interactions with the media, Mishra was all praises for Ravii’s dedication and called him as a director’s actor. Conveying that he was impressed with his performance in the series, he shared that he’s a great actor and human being.

Piyush Mishra says, “He’s a good kid. He’s a great actor and a great human being. He respects his seniors. He’s a dedicated actor. I was impressed. It’s commendable that at such a young age he showed incredible dedication. He had such heavy prosthetic makeup on and he was wallowing in dirt and mud during the shoot for numerous takes with no complaints. He’s a director’s actor.”

It seems that the admiration between the two Matsya Kaand actors is mutual. Ravii has often conveyed that he looks up to Mishra and was delighted to work him. He says, “It was a privilege to work with Piyush ji. He plays my mentor in the series but he turned out to be a mentor off screen too. There is so much to learn from him. He is very kind, encouraging and a complete artist.”

Dubey will be hitting the digital scene on November 18 in as many as 11 unrecognisable looks in MX Player’s most ambitious heist-based series – Matsya Kaand. Its story follows an honourable con artist, who pulls off the country’s most daring cons, while ACP Tejraj Singh (Ravi Kishen) is given the charge to apprehend him, resulting in a cat and mouse chase.
