A woman with a voice is, by definition, a strong woman, says Ashwini Kasar

Sony Entertainment Television’s most loved show, Mere Sai: Shradha Aur Saburi enlightens the viewers on how Sai Baba selflessly helps those in need at all times with his divinity. In the on-going track, Ashwini Kasar who essays the role of Jhipri, has returned to Shridi with her daughter due to marital issue and is a close friend of Sai Baba (Tushar Dalvi).

Sharing her thoughts on how a woman who has a voice is a strong woman, Ashwini Kasar says, “Strong women who make a positive difference are needed in the world. Women who uplift and strengthen others, who love and are loved, who live fearlessly, tenderly and fiercely are women of strong will. He efforts are boundaryless and one should respect that. ”

She further added “A woman with a voice is a strong woman by definition. However, locating that voice might be quite challenging. For any of us, life is not easy. But what about it? We must persevere and, most importantly, have faith in ourselves. We must think that we are gifted for something and that we must achieve it.”

The upcoming track will showcase how Sai Baba helps in empowering Jipri’s decision to leave the village in search of job in order to become self-sufficient, which is perceived as a hindrance by the village. The in-laws believe that if she wins, it will establish a bad precedent for women and girls in the village in terms of equality. Jipri’s in-laws begin to slander her throughout the community, making it impossible for her to obtain job
