Director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari shares a heart felt note for her old DA as she helms her first project

Without a doubt, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is one of the most sought after directors in the industry having helmed projects like Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi.

Ashwiny serves as an inspiration to many young filmmaker’s who want to work with her and not only this but she has always been a big supporter for budding directors.

A proof of this is her recent social media post where the director expressed her joy for one of her subordinates who used to work with her and now is helming her first project.

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari shared a story and wrote,
“When I see them grow, I am happy. My DA @mittal_gene who has her first stint in filmmaking and directing with me is directing her own film now. As must as she must have cried and I am so proud to see her helming her own film.”

On the work front, Ashwiny has a lot more lined up for the year besides her authored book, Mapping Love. She is also working on the life story of Mr and Mrs Murthy.
