Born and raised in New Delhi, India,Lekka discovered her love for music at a very early age.She started singing at the age of four. By the time she was seven, she had already hit the stage singing at local competitions. Over the years, her family’s extensive collection of music exposed her to various genres and helped her develop an eclectic taste. Along with Lekka’s childhood passion to belt out songs, she soon became keen to pen down poems later honing them into lyrics.

Lekka has been trained in western and popular music, having started singing at the age of four. She was a part of her school’s western music choir for many years, and then went on to train in Indian classical music followed by training froma Brazilian Opera Singer.

She is an independent stage artist and singer, whose recent single ‘Ride’ has crossed 300,000+ views on YouTube.

She was one of India’s top finalists on South Asia’s biggest English Singing Reality show, “The Stage, Season 3” was aired on Vh1 and Colors Infinity.The show is judged by eminent musicians Vishal Dadlani, EhsaanNoorani, Monica Dogra and DevrajSanyal. 

Lekka’s recent feats include performances and stints at numerous national and international events and festivals. Her exotic stage presence and powerful vocals have made a mark in the music scene, citing her as one of the most versatile in-demand performers.She has performed at major music and college festivals such as ZOMALAND, HORN OK Please Festival, BOHO Flea Bazaar Festival, Red Lab Fest by Cosmopolitan, Headlined the November Rain Festival,Aerocity launch of Farzi Café, Delhi Technical University’s ENGIFEST and Citywalk’s Christmas Fest which grossed over two lakh people.

She has also performed at the prestigious Audi A6 launch along with various corporate events forHyundai, Max Hospitals, Rackspace and Daicon. She has been featured in Vh1’s “World MusicWeek’ campaign for her contribution to Indian pop music. She unveiled the new ‘Nine’ sanitary pad at the‘Run for Nine’ marathon in 2019.

Apart from being a frontline singer, Lekka is also a popular model, and made her mark in fashion by modelling for some of India’s finest designers and brands and has been a part of major brand campaigns for Meena Bazaar, PC Jewellers, Harper’s Bazaar Bride, Femina, Bobbi Brown, Art Karat and Bridal Asia.

Lekka hails from New Delhi/Gurgaon and is an engineer by qualification. She is an avid sports fan and an ardent Liverpool Supporter. Fitness is a big part of her life and she loves weight training in the gym. She also loves traveling and Horse riding.

Lekka is all set to release her brand new Hindi/Punjabi  with single “Kaabil-E-Tareef ” with SONY Music India featuring the famous Punjabi superstar GurnazarChattha. The track is written and composed by GurnazarChattha and produced by Gaurav Dev and Kartik Dev who have produced hits like TaaronKeShehar Mein by Neha Kakkar, KuchBhi Ho Jaye by B Praak, Crossblade Live and many more. Kaabil e Tareef is a fresh urban take on classic romance.
