Founded by the Government of Goa in 2004, Entertainment Society of Goa, known as ESG was the 1st Event and Entertainment Agency across the State.

Entertainment Society of Goa was started with one focused, single idea in mind to bring the best of the events, film festivals and creative minds of vibrant entertainment industry from all over the globe at one place, on one platform. ESG became the nodal agency to organize and execute the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on behalf of the Government of Goa from 2004 since the year of its establishment.

Currently, ESG is extensively working towards making the State of Goa the hub of this industry.

From beaches to forts, from temples to churches and from casinos to cruises, Goa offers something to everyone. There is so much about Goa that filmmakers have made it one of their hotspots for the shooting of the films. There are many Bollywood films that have been shot in Goa and various parts of the place have been chosen to add beauty to the film locations.
