Namrata Gupta Khan debuts as an author with A Dream I Lived Alone, a life story of her father-in-law Padmavibhushan Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan

Namrata, who runs her own event management firm, NR Talent and Event Management marks her debut as an author a book ‘A Dream I Lived Alone’, published by Penguin Worldwide, which is a life story of her father-in-law Padmavibhushan Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan, who was an Indian classical vocalist and guru par excellence. She been a writing enthusiast feels fortunate that she has been able to finally accomplish it.

Elated Namrata says, “It was a great journey as a proprietor of an event company as I get to travel around the world with the greatest artists of our country. As I did many events with my father-in-law Padmavibhushan Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan, I had an opportunity to discuss his life story of which I got inspired and I decided to pen down his life into a book. I started noticing his different things which he did in different ways.”

Namrata Gupta Khan, wife of playback singer Rabbani Mustafa Khan was born and raised in Mumbai and is a commerce graduate from Mumbai University. She has started working at a young age of 16, post which, over a period of twelve years, she built a career in customer service and sales with one of the largest telecom companies of India.

Namrata believes in giving back to the society and has taught spastic children which has been one of the most learning and rewarding experiences for her. She is passionate about health and fitness, and believes that one can always work towards changing one’s physical and mental well-being and personal growth.

She has several noted achievements and awards to her credit. Besides being an entrepreneur and an author, she is also a Celebrity Portfolio Manager and has directed few Hindi Music Videos and also produced few projects with Times Music. She is the winner of The Global Women Achievers Award 2019 and Hunar Ratna award 2020.
