Dibyendu Bhattacharya’s themed Ganesh Chathurthi is worth the watch

Actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya is an actor par excellence and his recent back to back praise worthy performances speak of his craft. After films such as Black Friday, Dev D, BA Pass and digitally hit series Lal Bazaar and Undekhi, Dibyendu has surely become a force to reckon with in the world of storytelling. Basking in the success of his recent crime thriller The Gone Game, Dibyendu is also busy welcoming Bappa home and celebrating Ganesh Chathurthi with his family and close friends. Interestingly, it turns out that Dibyendu’s craft is not limited to just acting but is also an intelligent artist! The multi-talented actor has once again welcomed Bappa with a themed decorations.

This year’s theme at Dibyendu’s house is inspired by the world’s ongoing battle with the pandemic of COVID 19. He has beautifully made Bappa’s figurine inside a sanitizer bottle, giving out a strong message of having protection against the illness.

Talking about this, he says, “Every year I celebrate a themed Ganesh Chathurthi. This year it is a message of hope and victory against COVID 19. Last year, I celebrated with the theme of Chandrayaan. Earlier my themes have included Aadhar, Bappa at Dargah and many more. Instead of making it just a religious celebration, I try to add contemporary relevance also. It gets a lot of appreciation from people who visit us. The idea of spreading awareness and happiness gets served in one go,” says the actor.
