Superintendent of Punjab Police Gurjot S Kaler’s latest track Bandeya composed by BPraak and written by Jaani highlights emotional issue – SONG OUT NOW

After belting out songs like My Hero Farmer and Dil Se Salaam, Gurjot S Kaler is back with his third single. The song, titled Bandeya, stands out in his discography for highlighting on the emotional issue of taking care of one’s parents in their old age.

It is a melodious track that tugs at the heartstrings. It makes for an interesting amalgamation of poetry, art and a palpable projection of reality. The video portrays the story of an elderly woman who is left behind in an old age home by her son. What follows is an emotional tale of love between a mother and a son.

The tag-line of Bandeya goes as, ‘Money cannot buy real happiness. Love and respect your parents’. The track is composed by B Praak with lyrics penned by Jaani. The poignant video has been directed by Arvindr Khaira.

Kaler is the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Punjab Police, India. Currently, he is in the UK and working with the Avon and Somerset police force in the domain of digital policing. His love for art and life comes alive through his songs and his career as a writer and mountaineer. He is known for highlighting important and sensitive issues through his music projects and visual poetry.
