Singer Jubin Nautiyal along with his dad aids six thousand families in Uttarakhand
During this period of global pandemic and lockdown from the past few months, our country has faced many challenges. Amongst which has been the heavy migration of labours to their native due to lack of work in cities.
Singer Jubin Nautiyal who received accolades and praised for his digital live concerts to keep the spirit alive during a tough time for fans and audiences all across the globe. Recently, while visiting his village named Jaunsar Bawar a vi in hilly area of Dehradun. Where the singer along with his father found that labourers had returned home from cities and have been out of work ever since. There are Six thousand families approximately, consists 7 – 12 members each. Jubin immediately decided to change their situation. He instantly stood up to offer his help in every way possible to aid these families in Uttarakhand.
‘I believe in giving back to society and want to keep helping as many people as I can and in whatever form possible. At the same time, I felt lucky to get this opportunity to help them and we are so thankful to the Reliance Foundation who provided us with the necessary material for distribution to the needy. The empathy that I felt seeing the mountain people struggle for their daily needs is what moved me. We still have a long way to go as we plan to cover many villages and some of the roads are damaged due to heavy rains and landslides which is posing a great challenge for us. But, we will try to give our best to stick to the schedule we have planned for distribution’. – adds Jubin Nauityal
Jubin and his dad concluded in the distribution of Ration Kits to Six thousand families one for each family. Jubin expresses his gratitude towards Ambani family who sent their help in instant to needy families at native, the kind gesture warms his heart. Due to heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, there is the problem of landslides, but Jubin is adamant to reach out there with his father and help of others to be assured delivery of the Ration Kit at their doorsteps.
He further hopes that this will definitely inspire others to start a movement in their respective hometown to help the villagers in need.
