Aaya Laadiye, the new song from Doordarshan ft. Mahie Gill is the wedding anthem of the year

Doordarshan, an upcoming slice of life comedy film starring Mahie Gill, Manu Rishi Chaddha, Dolly Ahluwalia and Supriya Shukla in lead roles has been getting a lot of appreciation for its trailer. The film, which is based on a family which has to recreate 1989 in 2020, so that the ‘daadi’ of the family wakes up from coma after 30 years and needs to be eased into the time gap. The film promises to offer wholesome entertainment for the entire family.

After a fantastic response to the trailer, the makers have now released the first song from the film titled Aaya Laadiye. The song has been composed by Meet Bros and has vocals by Jyotica Tangri and Piyush Mehroliyaa . Aaya Laadiye , which is inspired by traditional Punjabi folk song popular in weddings is the perfect combination of classic and contemporary and promises to be the wedding number of the year.
