#MainNahiDarti is Divya Dutta’s motto for Women’s Day
Most actors try to remain in their comfort zone and do things that they think have worked the best. The magic formula as most refer to but Divya Dutta is one actress who have always taken pride in taking the road less travelled and that is what she intends to do all of 2019 as well.
One may recall that the talented actress won the a National Award as Best Supporting Actress in 2018 and her lineup for 2019 also looks diverse and full of risks. In this year, we will see Divya dawn a variety of shades for her movies that consists of Malala Yousufzai biopic Gul Makai, Netflix film Music Teacher, children’s film Jhalki… A Different Childhood, a psychological thriller that also stars Arshad Warsi and Juhi Chawla, Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai and Ram Singh Charlie.
When asked about her upcoming projects, Divya said, “It’s great. I think I have become slightly greedier and more selective, but I think it’s lovely”. She added, “There’s no strategy or plan that now I will only do this. But it’s just that your heart says ‘now don’t do this’ and ‘only do this’ or ‘go ahead and do just something drastically different’…, I love to experiment more.”
She feels that she is in the position to look at scripts and decide on what she wants to do and does not want to.
Looking at her lineup even her fans think that she is one actress that loves to experiment, take risks and does not get scared. One of the fans even gave coined a hashtag for her – #MainNahiDarti and truly she is living embodiment of this.
