Nucleya Celebrates the Spirit of Ganpati with a Special Glimpse of His New Song ‘Aala Re Aala’

One of India’s most influential electronic music artists, Nucleya known for his distinctive fusion of Indian folk and pop-cultural influences with global bass music, unveiled a special glimpse of his upcoming song, Aala Re Aala, as a heartfelt tribute during the auspicious Aagman of Chinchpokli Cha Chintamani Ganpati.

Known for landmark releases such as Koocha Monster, Bass Rani and Raja Baja to performances at major festivals including EDC Las Vegas, NH7 Weekender and Sunburn, he has built a sound and legacy that continues to shape India’s contemporary electronic music landscape.

The special unveiling at the aagman marks a meaningful homecoming for Nucleya, reflecting his long-standing connection with Mumbai and its beloved Ganesh festivities. The artist had previously celebrated the spirit of Ganpati through his music, launching his acclaimed album Bass Rani during Ganpati Visarjan in 2015.

With Aala Re Aala, Nucleya once again returns to honour the energy, emotion and larger-than-life spirit of the festival through his distinctive musical sound. The glimpse captures the infectious enthusiasm and celebratory atmosphere that define Ganeshotsav, bringing together Nucleya’s signature high-energy electronic sound with the vibrant spirit of Mumbai’s festivities.

Nucleya said, “Ganpati celebrations have always held a very special place in my heart. The energy of Mumbai during this time is unlike anything else, it brings people, music and celebration together in the most beautiful way. I launched Bass Rani during Ganpati Visarjan in 2015, so coming back during the auspicious Aagman with a glimpse of Aala Re Aala feels incredibly special.”

For Nucleya, however, the connection with India’s festive culture extends beyond performing on conventional stages. Looking ahead, the artist hopes to take the experience directly into the neighbourhoods and communities that bring these celebrations alive.

“I’d love to do more celebrations like this, something like a Gully Circuit, where I take this experience into the gullies and neighbourhoods during the festive season. Not just performing at big venues, but actually bringing the music and celebration closer to the people and communities that make these cities what they are,” he added.

The idea reflects Nucleya’s larger vision of taking his music beyond conventional concert spaces and into the heart of the communities that inspire India’s most vibrant celebrations. With Aala Re Aala, he continues to bring contemporary electronic sounds together with India’s cultural rhythms, while looking towards more intimate and community-driven celebrations in the future.
