Sony SAB’s Yaadein cast shares how they turn the sets into their own playground with their quirky toys and playful pranks

Sony SAB’s Yaadein entertains audiences with its unique mix of humour, heart, everyday relationships and intriguing medical mysteries. But when the cameras stop rolling, the cast has found an equally fun way to keep the energy alive on set. From toy weapons to surprise pranks, the actors often turn their breaks into playful moments and keep each other entertained.

Their collection of toys, playful pranks and impromptu games have become a fun part of their everyday routine, keeping the atmosphere on set light and giving everyone a chance to unwind and bond. The little moments of masti help the cast switch off from their characters and enjoy each other’s company, making their bond off screen just as fun as their on-screen camaraderie. Gulki Joshi, Iqbal Khan, and Chhavi Pandey share their favourite toy on set.

Gulki Joshi who essays the role of Dr Srishty, shared, “I have a toy gun on set and I love using it to shoot everyone. I have a few other toys too, but the gun is definitely my favourite. Whenever I get a chance, I’ll just pick it up and start shooting everyone for fun. It’s become my little way of creating some masti between shots.”

Iqbal Khan who essays the role of Dr Dev, shared, “I have a light sword on set which is basically for my protection. We have our imaginary wars and fights between shots, so whenever there is a sword around, you have to be ready. It’s really fun because everyone gets involved and suddenly the set becomes our playground.”

Chhavi Pandey who essays the role of Dr Preeti, shared, “It’s honestly so much fun watching everyone play with these little toys on set. Someone will suddenly come up with a new prank or start a game, and everyone gets involved. I love that we have such a light and playful atmosphere where we can just have fun between our scenes.”
