Munawar Faruqui to be the first guest on ‘Madness Machayenge – India Ko Hasayenge!’

This Saturday, get ready to ‘laugh-out-loud’ with Sony Entertainment Television’s comedy extravaganza, ‘Madness Machayenge – India Ko Hasayenge’. With Huma Qureshi as ‘Madness Ki Malkin’, Harsh Gujral donning the hat of a host, and ace comedians – Paritosh Tripathi, Snehil Dixit Mehra (BC Aunty), Gaurav Dubey, Kettan Singh, Ankita Shrivastav, Kushal Badrike, Inder Sahani, and Hemangi Kavi presenting a diverse range of comedic acts, the show must be a part of your weekend ‘watch-list!’ Raising the ‘madness’ quotient on the show will be its first celebrity guest, Munawar Faruqui, who will leave you in splits with his humorous banter.

Ace stand-up comedian Harsh Gujral fondly recalls Munawar’s earlier appearances as an opener for his shows and reliving the nostalgia, both Harsh and Munawar team up to entertain the audience with a collaborative stand-up act titled, ‘UP versus Dongri’, which earns them laughter and praise from Huma Qureshi! Furthermore, Kettan Singh, Kushal Badrike, Ankita Shrivastav, Snehil Mehra Dixit (BC Aunty), and Inder Sahani team up for an ‘Animal Spoof’, re-enacting some of the famous scenes from the movie with a dash of humour. Actor and comedian Paritosh Tripathi regales one and all by engaging in a slapstick conversation with Munawar. Not only this, an improvised shayari competition between Munawar and Paritosh adds to the amusement, followed by a comical ‘Swayamvar Roast’, featuring Gaurav as Munawar. Viewers will also see Munawar do a ‘Reverse Roast’, where he humorously roasts all the participants with fun puns and jokes.

Sharing his excitement about the launch of the show and interacting with Munawar, comedian Gaurav Dubey says, “Being a part of ‘Madness Machayenge – India Ko Hasayenge’ has been an exciting experience! As a team, our one goal is to entertain our viewers with fun gags. My performance as ‘Munawar Faruqui’ in one of the gags was challenging; I researched his sketches, saw his appearances on reality shows, and even got advice from Harsh Gujral, who has previously worked with him. Every step of the process was meticulously planned, to perfectly capture Munawar’s spirit humorously and I hope viewers enjoy what we have to offer!”

Be sure to tune in to ‘Madness Machayenge – India Ko Hasayenge’ this Sunday at 9:30 PM only on Sony Entertainment Television
