Father’s Day special: Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar walks down memory lane & revisits the moment when she made her father truly proud of her!

Apart from winning the prestigious Miss World (2017) title, Manushi Chillar is also known to be someone who’s rooted, close to her family and considers them a major source of inspiration.

On the auspicious occasion of Father’s Day, we revisit Manushi’s latest interview where she spoke about her proud win and looking at her parents from the stage!

Manushi still cannot miss the moment when she was on stage, standing tall amongst the top 5 contestants, waiting for her name to be announced as ‘Miss World’!

While talking to a leading news website, Manushi had mentioned, “I just remember for the first time in my life, the amount of pride I saw in my father’s eye, I was like ‘oh my god, I don’t care if I win this or not, I have done'”. Apart from her global win, Manushi is truly a desi at heart and is truly a family girl, especially her papa’s favourite!
