Zee TV stars honour farmers on Kisan Diwas 2025: A salute to India’s true backbone

Every year on 23 December, the nation celebrates Kisan Diwas, a day dedicated to honouring the tireless efforts of our farmers, who nurture the soil and feed millions.

Shubhangi Latkar from Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan said, “On this Kisan Diwas, I want to salute every farmer who wakes up before dawn, works with their hands and hearts, and feeds our nation. In Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, I play a mother grounded in values and it reminds me how much we owe to those who nurture our land. Their strength, sacrifice and spirit are the roots that keep India standing.” For her, celebrating Kisan Diwas is about honouring those who silently bear so much, yet keep the nation fed.
