This is how Jackie Shroff prepped daughter Krishna Shroff for Chhoriyan Chali Gaon

As Zee TV gears up for the launch of its much-anticipated reality show – Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, viewers are in for an immersive experience with 11 urban women stepping away from the comforts of city life and spending over 60 days living in the heart of rural India. The grand premiere episode promises drama, emotion, and big reveals as the contestants are officially unveiled—Anita Hassanandani, Krishna Shroff, Aishwarya Khare, Rameet Sandhu, Anjuum Faakih, Reha Sukheja, Dolly Javed, Sumukhi Suresh, Surabhi – Samriddhi Mehra (aka Chinki Minki), and Erika Packard. Hosted by the ever-spirited Rannvijay Singha, the show promises raw challenges, real transformations, and authentic human connections.

Among them is Krishna Shroff—who didn’t just sign up for the challenge but trained for it under the guidance of none other than her father, Jackie Shroff. Known for his earthy charm and deep-rooted love for nature, Jackie gave his daughter some truly desi survival tips before she entered the gaon.

Determined to take his advice seriously, Krishna spent time at their family farmhouse—learning to milk a cow, pulling fresh cabbages from the soil, and reconnecting with the rhythm of rural life.

Krishna Shroff said, “I’ve never actually lived in a village before, so this experience is completely new for me. But that’s also what makes it exciting, it pushes me out of my comfort zone and gives me a chance to test myself. I want to see how I adapt in a completely different environment. Before the show, my dad told me to come and practice a little for the show, so I spent some time at our family’s farmhouse. Milking a cow, pulling vegetables from the ground – it sounds simple, but it shifted something in me. Spending time at our farmhouse gave me a glimpse of what to expect. I truly believe my overall perspective on life will change after this experience. I’m excited for the rewiring and for everything I’ll learn from this extraordinary experience.”

Clearly, these small but meaningful experiences grounded her and prepared her mentally for what lies ahead. Through her father’s mentorship and her own curiosity, Krishna steps into Chhoriyan Chali Gaon not just as a participant but as someone willing to transform, learn and grow.

Stay tuned to Chhoriyan Chali Gaon which is all set to premiere on 3rd August at 9PM and daily at 9:30PM, only on Zee TV!
