This weekend, Sony Entertainment Television’s homegrown dance reality show, ‘ India’s Best Dancer 4 ’, will see the Best 12 showcase their spectacular moves in the ‘Grand Premiere’ episodes themed ‘Stage to Stardom.’ The judges aka the ‘ENT’ Specialists – Karisma Kapoor, Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis will announce an exciting but important milestone that will add an extra edge to the journey of the contestants. For the first time, the Best Barah will be scored during the Grand Premiere, kickstarting the competition from the word go, and that’s not all! Out of the Top 12 contestants, only the Best 6 will have the opportunity to be seated in a special section week after week wherein they will have to strive hard to maintain their leadership.

Owning the stage with some mesmerizing contemporary moves, 17-year-old Harsh Kesari, from Patna, along with his choreographer Pratik Utekar will steal the spotlight as they dance to a mashup of ‘Tere Bin’ and ‘Sajni Re.’ Impressed with Harsh and Pratik’s dedication to their craft, Karisma Kapoor shared an interesting trivia. She said, “When I was learning to dance, I used to go to Satyam Hall and Saroj Khan ji used to teach me. In those times, they were choreographing for‘Tamma Tamma’ and I used to learn the steps. I then learned that the dance routine involved Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt. For those days, the steps were very complicated and when Saroj ji saw me, she immediately said, ‘Accha, you’re still here? Come learn these steps.’ So I tried learning the steps for a few days and then she asked me to perform and I did. I ended up dancing approximately 4 to 5 times which helped me build stamina. I wanted to learn the song, so I learnt thewhole song by heart and did my steps.”

This weekend, tune in to the ‘Grand Premiere’ of ‘India’s Best Dancer – Season 4’ at 8:00 PM on Sony Entertainment Television.
