Our desi-girl-gone-global Priyanka Chopra Jonas makes it a point to celebrate Indian festivals in spite of her busy schedule
The cross-continental queen might be shaking up Hollywood to boot with her plethora of talent but when it comes to staying true to her roots, PC is the first in line! Always putting India on the global map of culture, Priyanka Chopra celebrated Holi with her friends and family in the US.
Our desi-girl-gone-global spent her favourite festival with husband Nick Jonas and family. She even took to her Instagram to share some fun moments from her celebration. In one carousel post, she shared some candid moments from the day, including a video with her partner Nick Jonas. She wrote, “To be able to find some joy at a time when the world feels so scary is such a blessing. Happy holi everyone. Thank you to our friends and family for playing holi like desi’s do! Feeling blessed. #photodump #happyholi #goodoverevil #festivalofcolours” (sic).
In another fun post, she shared, “Do me a favour.. let’s play holi. Sorry. Had to!”
The globetrotting superstar has always been a flagbearer of Indian culture, whether in her reel or her real life. Keeping up with every Indian tradition, ritual and festival with much fervour and enthusiasm, she has successfully introduced the west to everything desi!
