Starring Shweta Basu Prasad as the eponymous character Gudiya, the teleplay is a comedy of errors that takes a light-hearted jab at the standards of beauty set by society on women. On her wedding day, a mix-up in the shampoo leads to Gudiya losing her eyebrows and her sweet Indian wedding turns into a pungent comedy of errors. What remains to be seen is if Gudiya will be able to convince everyone and save her marriage? Directed by Sourabh Shrivastav, the play stars Virendra Saxena, Samta Sagar, Ishtiyaq Khan, Saroj Sharma, Neha Saraf, Vikram Kochhar, Anveshi Jain. Crippled by huge debt, Bhupati dreams of moving to Calcutta after selling his palace – once he gets rid of the ghost that haunts it. Directed by Akhilesh Jaiswal, the teleplay stars Anil Charanjeett, Abha Parmar, Ankita Shrivastav, Pradhuman Singh and Arvind Vaidya. Daak Ghar

‘Daak Ghar’ is an adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore’s poignant story of the same name and was originally written in 1912. The play follows the story of young boy Amal, who has been confined to a room because of ill health. A single window in the room is his only access to the world outside. On being informed that the King is building a Post Office nearby, the debilitated kid with a big imagination begins to yearn to become the King’s postmaster. ‘Daak Ghar’ stars Krrish Chhabria, Saurabh Goyal, Kishore C.
